About Samantha
Samantha Salvi built a steady legal career in Illinois after completing law school in Chicago. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2018, where her studies included family and child law and medical malpractice. Earlier academic work took her through Virginia Commonwealth University and the Florida Institute of Technology, where she completed undergraduate studies in criminal justice and pre-law.
Her entry into the profession began while she was still in school. In 2014 she joined Salvi, Salvi & Wifler P.C. as a law clerk. That early exposure to firm practice set the stage for a more formal role after graduation. In 2018 she became an associate at the same firm. She handled case work that moved through discovery and, at times, courtroom proceedings. Over the next several years she took on more responsibility and began overseeing matters and mentoring junior staff.
By 2023 she had founded and taken leadership of Salvi Law, Inc., where she serves as managing partner. The shift to running a firm changed her day-to-day duties. She now balances client work with administrative and managerial tasks. The role requires regular courtroom appearances, case strategy decisions and coordination across outside experts and opposing counsel.
Her memberships reflect the professional circles she moves in. She holds current membership in the State Bar of Illinois and belongs to the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Women’s Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association. Those affiliations keep her connected to trial practice trends and local court procedures. They also provide venues for continuing legal education and peer engagement.
Practically, her work draws on the subjects she studied in law school. She takes on matters involving family and child law and medical malpractice, as well as related civil litigation that arises in those areas. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical and case-driven; clients can expect a focus on the legal issues at hand rather than marketing rhetoric. She practices in Illinois and leads operations at Salvi Law, Inc., where her current practice centers on family and child law, medical malpractice and related civil litigation in the state.
