Mr. Behnam earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, graduating in 1997. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Fullerton, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. During his time at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he gained comprehensive legal training, preparing him for a diverse legal career.
Mr. Behnam concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, business law, family law, estate planning, and real estate litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving Chapter 7 bankruptcy, business formation, shareholder disputes, divorce, child custody, estate administration, and real estate transactions. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Behnam has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Long Beach for five years. His extensive experience allows him to effectively navigate complex legal issues and provide strategic solutions for his clients.
Mr. Behnam is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a certified mediator through the Los Angeles County Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Behnam is fluent in English and Farsi, enabling him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
