About Said

Said Ibrahim arrives at meetings with a plain directness. He listens first. He asks precise questions. Then he maps out the legal options in clear language. Clients who come to him for family law matters say they appreciate that clarity.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Florida International University in 2011. He stayed connected to the policy and business side of law and completed his J.D. in Business Law at Albany Law School in 2015. Those academic years shaped how he approaches complex financial issues that often appear in dissolution proceedings.

After law school he entered practice in New York and focused on family law. Over the years he has handled contested divorces, custody disputes, child support matters and cases involving the equitable distribution of assets. He works on both negotiated settlements and contested hearings. He also represents clients facing orders of protection and other urgent family court matters.

Colleagues and clients describe his approach as methodical. He breaks down financial records and translates legal standards into steps a client can follow. In court he presents documented positions and seeks rulings that reflect both the law and factual reality. Outside the courtroom he pursues settlements when they better serve a client’s interests. He prepares for mediation and settlement conferences with evidence and realistic alternatives.

He has navigated cases that require coordinating with forensic accountants and parenting professionals. Those collaborations help when custody and property division issues intersect. He also handles paperwork for post-judgment enforcement and modifications. He aims to give clients an accurate sense of timelines and possible outcomes rather than promising quick fixes.

Licensed to practice in New York, he is based at Divorce & Family Legal, LLC. He continues to take matters in state family court and represents clients in both contested and negotiated family law proceedings. His current practice focuses on divorce, child custody and child support matters.
