About Saheed William Dahar

Saheed William Dahar II earned his J.D. from Boston College in 1989. He completed his legal education as the late 1980s gave way to a period of expanding federal and state practice in New England. The Boston College law degree laid the groundwork for a career that has bridged both trial courts and appellate benches.

Early in his career Dahar secured admission to the bar in New Hampshire in 1992 and to the Massachusetts bar in 1993. He later gained admission to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and, subsequently, the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions reflect a pathway common to lawyers who handle matters that cross state and federal lines, and they have enabled him to appear at multiple levels of the judiciary.

Dahar has maintained active membership in the New Hampshire Bar Association since 1992 and in the Massachusetts State Bar since 1993. He has kept ties to both professional communities for decades. Membership in those organizations has provided a forum for continuing legal education and professional exchange, and it has kept him connected to changes in rules and procedure across two neighboring jurisdictions.

Over the years Dahar has done work in state trial courts and in federal forums. His admissions to the First Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court indicate familiarity with appellate practice, while his longstanding presence in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire suggests regular involvement in regional litigation. He has handled matters that required motions practice, oral argument and written briefs, and he has represented clients at different tiers of the judicial system.

Colleagues describe him as steady and pragmatic at the courthouse. He combines courtroom experience from both states with appellate credentials that allow him to pursue remedies beyond the trial level. His practice has adapted to procedural shifts and statutory changes over more than three decades, while he has continued to serve clients whose matters required representation across jurisdictions.

As of 2026, Dahar remains an active member of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire bars and retains his federal admissions. He practices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and carries appellate admissions to the First Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He currently focuses his practice on litigation in state and federal courts across those jurisdictions.
