About Sadeer
Sadeer Sabbak built a legal path that moves from classroom to courtroom in a straight, deliberate line. He earned a B.A. from Georgia State University in 2003 and completed his J.D. at New England Law | Boston in 2008. Those years established the foundation for later work on both sides of criminal proceedings.
Early in his career he gained practical courtroom exposure in Massachusetts. In 2011 he served as an intern at Greater Boston Legal Services and worked as a judicial clerk at the South Boston District Court. Those roles offered regular contact with courtroom procedure and case management, and they gave Sabbak early experience observing judges and litigators at work.
By 2013 Sabbak had moved into frontline criminal defense. He worked as a criminal defense lawyer at the Office of the Public Defender. There he handled a range of criminal matters and developed courtroom skills through direct client counsel and trial work. The public defender role connected his academic training to steady courtroom practice and client advocacy.
In 2017 he took on a leadership role at Sabbak & Izmaylova. Listed as managing partner that year, he assumed responsibility for supervising litigation strategy, directing case preparation, and overseeing client communication. The firm operates under the Atlanta Criminal Defense Team and under the Sabbak & Izmaylova name in firm records. Sabbak’s management role has involved both day-to-day case work and the organizational tasks that come with running a practice.
Sabbak maintains a number of professional affiliations. He has held membership in the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers since 2014. Beginning in 2017 he joined the National Trial Lawyers, the North Fulton Bar Association, and the American Institute of Criminal Law Lawyers. He was also a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association between 2017 and 2018. These memberships reflect ongoing engagement with professional groups tied to trial practice and criminal defense.
His license and jurisdictional practice are centered in Georgia. He has cultivated a practice that emphasizes criminal defense litigation and related pretrial work. He works out of Atlanta-area offices affiliated with the Atlanta Criminal Defense Team and Sabbak & Izmaylova, and he continues to handle criminal matters across the state.
He currently practices criminal defense in Georgia.
