About Sabi
Sabi Mand built her legal foundation at the University of California system. She earned a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006 and later completed a J.D. at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. Those years of study gave her grounding in legal doctrine and courtroom procedure, and they set the stage for a practice centered in California.
After law school she helped launch a private practice that she now leads as a founding partner. At Williams, Drexler, & Mand PC she is one of the principals responsible for shaping firm strategy and overseeing client matters. Her role involves managing complex files, coordinating with colleagues, and ensuring the firm meets its obligations to clients and to the courts.
Her day-to-day work requires a mix of lawyering skills. She prepares filings, briefs factual and legal issues, and handles client counseling. She also participates in hearings and other court proceedings in California. Those duties demand attention to detail and a steady approach to litigation and negotiation. She balances courtroom readiness with practical problem solving for clients.
Outside the firm, she has maintained a steady presence in local access-to-justice efforts. Since 2012 she has served as a volunteer lawyer with the Alameda County Bar Association Volunteer Legal Services Corporation. In that capacity she has provided pro bono assistance to members of the community who cannot afford private counsel. That volunteer work has included client interviews, limited-scope advice, and participation in legal clinics organized by the association.
Colleagues describe her as someone who attends to both the legal and human dimensions of a case. She mentors younger attorneys at her firm and often handles matters that require coordination among multiple parties. Running a law firm has added administrative responsibilities to her roster, including supervising staff and helping to set office practices.
Sabi Mand practices in California and maintains an active role in both private practice and community legal service. She is a founding partner of Williams, Drexler, & Mand PC and continues to combine firm leadership with direct client representation. Her current practice at Williams, Drexler, & Mand PC centers on representing clients in matters brought in California courts and on providing access to legal services through pro bono work.
