About Ryan D.

Ryan D. Caldwell took a steady, local path into law. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and History from the University of Nebraska–Kearney in 1997 and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2002. Those years established the academic foundation he would draw on in courtrooms and offices across the state.

After law school, he entered private practice. In 2005 he joined Bianco Stroh, LLC as an associate attorney. That role gave him early exposure to litigation and client work in Nebraska. His time there helped him refine how he prepares cases and communicates with clients and opposing counsel.

In 2011 he launched his own firm, Caldwell Law, LLC. He has led the firm since its founding, handling cases and managing the practice’s operations. Over the years his work has involved matters brought in Nebraska courts and filings that reach the federal appellate level. He is admitted to practice in Nebraska and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in his work and straightforward in his courtroom manner. He balances litigation and case management, often overseeing filings and procedural strategy while consulting with clients on realistic outcomes. He prefers to keep the record clear and the arguments focused, and he tends to prepare thoroughly when appeals are a possibility.

Outside the courtroom, Caldwell’s background in public administration and history informs how he approaches complex administrative records and statutory questions. That academic mix can be useful when cases turn on the interplay between local rules and broader legal standards. He has maintained a practice centered in Nebraska for most of his career, often handling matters originating in the state that have potential federal implications.

As an attorney licensed for practice before both Nebraska courts and the Eighth Circuit, he continues to represent clients through trial and on appeal. He handles matters filed in Nebraska state courts and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
