About Ryan A
Ryan A Abrams earned a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University before turning to law. He completed his Juris Doctor at Nova Southeastern University in 2014. The combination of planning and legal study shaped an early interest in how regulatory systems, technical rules and human decision-making intersect.
After law school Abrams established his practice in South Florida and is admitted to practice in Florida and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Those admissions allow him to handle matters at both the state and federal levels. He keeps his practice anchored in the regional legal community.
He is a member of the Broward Bar Association and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. Those local affiliations connect him to colleagues and to the courts where much of his day-to-day work takes place. He participates in bar association activities and local programs that address practical concerns for practitioners and clients.
Abrams’s undergraduate training in urban and regional planning informs the way he approaches cases. It gave him early exposure to regulatory frameworks, municipal procedures and the technical language that often appears in public and private development matters. In practice that background can aid in understanding zoning records, planning documents and administrative filings, and it shapes how he communicates technical issues to judges, staff and opposing counsel.
At Abrams Law Office, P.A., he manages client matters and courtroom work in the South Florida region. He works directly with clients on filings, hearings and federal practice when cases require it. His day may include drafting pleadings, preparing motions for court and meeting with clients to explain procedural steps and realistic outcomes.
His practice centers on handling matters in Florida and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
