About Russell
Russell Hebets began his academic path in economics and ended up in the courtroom. He earned an M.S. in economics from the University of Michigan in 1997 and completed his J.D. at Indiana University Bloomington in 2000. Those studies provided a blend of analytic training and legal doctrine that he later applied in criminal defense work.
Early in his career Hebets moved into defense practice. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and before the Federal Circuit. Over the years he has joined several professional organizations tied to criminal and DUI defense, including the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, where he has held membership since 2008.
