About Russel
Russel Morgan studied political science at Brooklyn College before going on to earn his J.D. from New York Law School. His classroom years were anchored in urban campuses and public education. Those foundations shaped an approach to law that values clarity and practical solutions.
After law school he entered private practice and later formed Morgan Legal Group, P.C., where he serves as lawyer and founder. He is admitted to practice in New York and maintains active membership in the State Bar of New York. Over time he built a firm presence across the state rather than concentrating in a single neighborhood. That pattern shows in the list of office locations Morgan established: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Buffalo, the Bronx, Queens, Albany, Rochester, Westchester, and both Suffolk and Nassau counties on Long Island.
Morgan is also a member of several professional organizations. He belongs to the American Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association. He holds membership in the Jewish Lawyers Guild and the Russian American Bar Association’s New York chapter. These affiliations reflect a practice embedded in both city and statewide legal communities.
Colleagues describe his work style as methodical. He approaches cases with an eye toward procedure and precedent. He balances courtroom preparation with client-facing responsibilities. That mix of tasks is typical for a firm that serves clients across multiple offices and counties.
Morgan Legal Group, P.C. operates as a multi-office firm. Morgan manages operations that span urban and suburban jurisdictions. The firm's geographic reach gives him regular exposure to a broad array of New York courts. It also means he deals often with logistical and strategic issues tied to handling matters across different counties.
Outside of his firm duties he stays connected to the professional bar through committee participation and local bar events. He uses those opportunities to keep current on changes in court practice and rules. He also draws on his academic background in political science to frame legal arguments that consider institutional context as well as statutory text.
He currently practices law from offices across New York, handling legal matters for clients statewide.
