About Ross B.

Ross B. Erlich built his path to law across two California campuses. He earned a B.S. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law in 2006. Those years framed an interest in public affairs and courtroom practice that would shape his professional choices.

Soon after law school, Erlich entered private practice in California. In 2010 he served as an associate at the Law Offices of Jeffrey S. Vallens and later that year worked as an associate at the Law Offices of Miller and Becker. Those roles gave him experience in case preparation, client counseling and courtroom procedure. Colleagues from that period recall a steady work ethic and a preference for hands-on litigation tasks.

Erlich has stayed active outside the office. He joined California Lawyers for Criminal Justice in 2009 and maintains that membership. Since 2011 he has been part of the executive board of the Beverly Hills chapter of Provisors, a networking group for professionals. His engagement with the San Fernando Valley Young Democrats began even earlier; he has served as treasurer there since 2005. Those affiliations reflect a long-standing interest in civic life and professional networks.

Over the years Erlich’s practice has involved courtroom matters and client representation across a range of issues typical for California attorneys. His time at small firm offices exposed him to both the procedural and practical sides of litigation. He has managed case files, drafted motions and represented clients in hearings. His peers describe him as methodical in preparation and direct in courtroom presentation.

Erlich’s trajectory is one of steady involvement rather than headline-making cases. He moved from academic study into firm practice and then into broader professional circles. That mix of education, firm experience and association work informs how he approaches cases and client relationships today.

He currently practices law in California and handles criminal defense and related matters.
