About Ronald L.
Ronald L. Hendrix earned his J.D. from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1985. He completed his legal education as the mid-1980s business world was changing, and he moved into roles that combined legal knowledge and workplace administration.
His early career was rooted in human resources. In 1985 he worked in human resources for Nicchols-Homeshield. By 1989 he had taken on the role of Director of Human Resources at Griffin Pipe. Those positions placed him inside corporate personnel systems and day-to-day workplace decision-making.
In 2003 he began practicing as a lawyer and established the Law Office of Ronald L. Hendrix, P.C. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and has maintained his practice there. Over the years he has balanced private practice responsibilities with continuing involvement in local and national bar activities.
Hendrix has stayed active in professional associations that reflect an interest in dispute resolution and local bar work. Since 2009 he has belonged to the DuPage County Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. He also joined the American Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section in 2009 and became a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution in 2010. Those memberships have kept him connected to developments in mediation, negotiation and county-level bar programs.
His résumé combines hands-on human resources experience and decades in private practice. That combination gives him perspective on workplace processes and on the procedural side of legal disputes. Today he practices from the Law Office of Ronald L. Hendrix, P.C., serving clients in Illinois. His current practice concentrates on legal matters for clients in Illinois.
