About Ronald B
Ronald B Grayzel earned his law degree from Rutgers School of Law–Newark in 1977. He entered the profession at a time of change in New Jersey’s courts. That moment shaped a long career devoted to civil trial work and courtroom practice.
Soon after graduating, Grayzel moved into litigation. He built experience handling contested matters in state courts. Over the decades he tried cases, prepared witnesses and argued motions. Those years in court sharpened his approach to evidence and trial procedure.
Grayzel holds a certification as a Civil Trial Lawyer from the New Jersey Supreme Court. That credential is awarded to lawyers who meet specific standards for trial experience, continuing education and peer review. It marks an emphasis on courtroom practice and signals recognized competence in civil trials under the state’s admission procedures for certification.
Colleagues describe him as methodical. He favors preparation over improvisation. He has worked on a range of civil disputes, including contract and tort matters, and has taken cases through all stages of litigation. He has also spent time mentoring younger lawyers on trial techniques and courtroom strategy.
In addition to courtroom work, Grayzel has maintained a steady practice advising clients on litigation risks and procedural strategy. He has drafted pleadings, handled discovery, and managed pretrial and trial preparation. His practice reflects many years of quietly mastering the mechanics that make trial lawyers effective: witness preparation, document management and persuasive argument.
Across a multi-decade career he has remained tied to New Jersey’s legal community. He keeps up with changes in civil procedure and evidence law. He is a certified Civil Trial Lawyer by the New Jersey Supreme Court and a Rutgers Law alumnus from the class of 1977. He continues to practice civil trial law in New Jersey.
