Ron Hal Oberndorfer is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1978. His license is currently inactive. Mr. Oberndorfer is a member of Fischbeck & Oberndorfer A Professional Corporation, a law firm located in La Mesa, California. He has been practicing law for over 48 years, serving clients throughout the San Diego metropolitan area and surrounding counties in Southern California.
Mr. Oberndorfer earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Redlands in 1975, where he majored in Business Administration and Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. He graduated with distinction and was a member of several academic societies, including the honor society Omicron Delta Kappa. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in 1978. During his time at California Western, he authored an article that was published in the California Western International Law Journal.
Mr. Oberndorfer concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, estate planning, and intellectual property. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving trusts, contracts, corporate law, wills, and probate. His practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial case evaluation, negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Oberndorfer has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego and the United States Tax Court. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in La Mesa for several years.
Mr. Oberndorfer is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association, where he participates in the Business, Real Estate, Estate Planning, and Litigation Sections. He has served on the Boards of Directors of the San Diego Jewish Academy, the Foothills Bar Association, and the East San Diego County Lawyer Referral Service. He has also served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of The Wellness Community of San Diego, a charitable organization that provides free counseling and support services to cancer patients and their families. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce and has been involved with the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Oberndorfer is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Diego County effectively.
