About Robyn
Robyn Zoccola grew up with a clear sense that law would be part of her life. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 2018, then moved north to Indiana for law school. Zoccola completed her Juris Doctor at Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2022, joining a generation of recent graduates who moved quickly into private practice.
Her legal career began immediately after law school. Zoccola joined Parr Richey Frandsen Patterson Kruse LLP as an associate. At the firm she has taken on a mix of tasks common to early-career litigators: drafting pleadings, preparing discovery, and assisting on motion practice in state and federal court. Colleagues describe her work as steady and practical. She has also carried responsibilities that require close attention to procedure and court rules in trial preparation.
Zoccola is admitted to practice in Indiana and holds membership in the Indiana State Bar. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Those admissions allow her to appear in both state-level cases and federal matters that arise in the region. The combination of state and federal practice has given her a range of courtroom and file-management experiences early in her career.
Her day-to-day practice involves typical litigation tasks. She assists on cases that involve civil disputes and regulatory matters. Her role often requires coordinating with clients, gathering and organizing documents, and supporting depositions and hearings. At the firm she contributes to case strategy discussions and helps prepare materials for trial teams. She works alongside partners and more senior associates, taking on responsibilities that increase as cases progress.
Outside the office, Zoccola maintains ties to the legal community through the Indiana State Bar. Membership in that organization has kept her connected to continuing legal education and local bar activities, and it provides a forum for networking with other Indiana practitioners. She is part of a cohort of lawyers who entered practice in the early 2020s and who are building litigation practices as courts and client needs evolve.
Observers of her work note a pragmatic approach: Zoccola tends to address immediate procedural and factual questions first, then help map longer-term case steps. That method fits the busy caseloads found at many defense-oriented firms. She currently practices at Parr Richey Frandsen Patterson Kruse LLP, where her practice focuses on litigation matters in Indiana and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
