About Courtney L.

Courtney L. Darcy built a steady academic foundation before entering legal practice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Purdue University at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 2012, followed by a Master of Public Affairs from the O’Neill School of Public Affairs in Indianapolis in 2016. She completed her legal education at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, receiving a Juris Doctor in 2019.

Those academic steps inform how she approaches the work she does now. The political science degree supplied an early grounding in institutions and public policy. The M.P.A. added training in governance and administration. Her J.D. provided the doctrinal and practical legal training required for practice in Indiana.

After finishing law school, Darcy joined the Indianapolis legal community. She serves as an associate at Parr Richey Frandsen Patterson Kruse LLP. In that role she participates in client matters handled by the firm, contributing research, drafting, and courtroom preparation as part of team-based practice.

Darcy is admitted to practice in Indiana and holds membership in the Indianapolis Bar Association. She maintains ties to the local bar and to colleagues across practice areas. That professional involvement gives her regular contact with practitioners and resources in the state legal community.

Colleagues describe her as thorough in preparing legal documents and attentive to procedural detail. Her academic background in public affairs often surfaces in how she frames legal issues that touch on administrative processes or public-sector questions. She combines classroom training and practical experience to analyze questions that arise in state practice.

In daily practice Darcy handles client work at Parr Richey Frandsen Patterson Kruse LLP, contributing on matters the firm accepts across its practice groups. She continues to participate in bar events and professional development in Indianapolis, staying current with rules and local practice. Her current practice centers on representing clients and advising on legal matters in Indiana.
