Robert Steven Amador is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1980. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Amador is the founding attorney of Amador Law Corporation, a law firm located in Torrance, California. He has been practicing law for over 45 years, serving clients throughout the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding counties in Southern California.

Mr. Amador earned his Juris Doctor degree from Stanford University Law School in 1979. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Pomona College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, graduating cum laude in 1976. During his time at Stanford, he developed a strong foundation in legal principles that have guided his extensive career.

Mr. Amador concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, healthcare law, collections, and civil litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving business contracts, business dissolution, business finance, business formation, business litigation, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, partnership and shareholder disputes, collections, employee benefits, employment contracts, employment discrimination, ERISA, overtime and unpaid wages, sexual harassment, whistleblower claims, wrongful termination, and healthcare-related issues. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Amador has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker and Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Mitchell, gaining experience in complex commercial and healthcare litigation.

Mr. Amador is an active member of the California Lawyers Association and the American Health Law Association. He serves as a mediator and arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, the American Health Law Association, and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center. He is also a panel mediator for the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, and the Los Angeles Superior Court. Mr. Amador is fluent in Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Los Angeles County effectively.
