About Robert
Robert Stein earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 1976 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1973. He entered the bar a year later and has maintained an active license since 1977. The early academic path set a clear course toward courtroom work and practice in both state and federal venues.
He began practicing under his own name in 1977. Over the years he built steady experience in litigation and federal practice. In 2003 he took on an of counsel role at Caesar, Napoli & Spivak PLLC, combining independent practice with responsibilities at that firm. The move reflected a shift toward collaborating with a larger litigation team while retaining an active caseload.
Stein is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. His credential list also includes admission to the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions indicate frequent work in both trial-level federal courts and in filings that may reach higher courts. He has handled matters in courts across the state and in federal venues, drawing on decades of courtroom experience.
Outside the courtroom he holds memberships in professional organizations that serve litigators. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar, and the American Association for Justice. Those affiliations have provided ongoing access to continuing legal education and collegial networks.
Today he serves as of counsel at Caesar, Napoli & Spivak PLLC and continues to maintain an active New York license. He splits his time between the firm role and his ongoing legal practice, concentrating on cases that proceed in state and federal courts. He currently practices at Caesar, Napoli & Spivak PLLC, concentrating on matters in state and federal courts.
