About Robert Samuel
Robert Samuel Cashen took a straightforward path into the law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University in 2009. Five years later he completed his J.D. at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2014.
He began his legal career the same year he finished law school, joining Robin, Ferguson & Kempton LLP as an associate. That first position gave him a ground-level view of firm practice and client work. Two years later he moved to Morgan Tidalgo Sukhodrev & Azzolino LLP, again as an associate. He advanced to partner at that firm in 2019, where he has remained.
Cashen is licensed to practice in California. Over more than a decade in private practice he has taken on the responsibilities typical of firm lawyers: advising clients, developing case strategy, handling filings and managing matters through various stages. Colleagues describe him as steady and practical in approach; clients have relied on him for clear explanations and follow-through.
His time at two different Los Angeles-area firms exposed him to the operational side of firm practice as well as the substantive work. As an associate he handled day-to-day case preparation and client communications. As a partner he has taken on greater management duties and a role in guiding younger lawyers. Outside the office he has remained connected to the legal community in California. His professional affiliations list a continuous association beginning in 2014. He has kept an office at Morgan Tidalgo Sukhodrev & Azzolino LLP and continued to practice at that firm through the present.
