About Robert

Robert Reda earned a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Drake University in 1980 before turning to the law. He went on to receive his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 1985. Those academic years combined an interest in public affairs with training in analysis and argument, and they provided the foundation for a long legal career.

After finishing law school, Reda entered private practice and built a steady practice over the following decades. He has worked through shifts in the legal landscape, adapting to changes in court procedure, technology and client expectations. His career spans more than thirty years, during which he handled day-to-day client needs as well as more complex matters that required extended attention.

Reda’s work centers on the core tasks most law firms and in-house departments perform. He has counseled clients, prepared documents and contracts, negotiated settlements and taken cases to trial when necessary. He pays attention to detail in pleadings and agreements, and he places value on clear, plainspoken explanations so clients understand their choices. He mixes careful preparation with a willingness to press legal issues in the courtroom.

Colleagues and clients have described him as practical in his approach. He tends to break problems into manageable parts and to set realistic expectations about outcomes and timelines. That practical bent shows up in how he manages files, prioritizes discovery and frames arguments for judges and juries. He does not rely on jargon. Instead, he translates the legal options into terms clients can use when making decisions about settlement, litigation or transactional steps.

Across a long career, Reda has balanced transactions and litigation work and handled matters for individuals and businesses. He has kept current on developments in the law that bear on his practice and adjusted his methods as courts and parties changed how they file, present and settle cases. As of 2026 he continues to practice law, handling both counseling and litigation matters for his clients.
