About Robert P.

Robert P. Audette earned his law degree from Boston University. He took the academic route that many litigators follow: solid classroom training followed by courtroom work. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and has spent his career working in the state's law firms and courts.

Early in his career he moved into private practice and rose through the ranks. He became a partner in 2006 at Audette, Bazar, Cordeiro & Grasso. That role put him in the center of firm management as well as client work. Colleagues from that period recall a lawyer comfortable in hearings and office conferences alike; he handled the demands of partnership while maintaining a visible presence in day-to-day case work.

Over time his practice has been grounded in Rhode Island practice and procedure. He has represented clients in state courts and counseled individuals and businesses on legal options. The record of his career is one of steady practice rather than frequent public headlines. He is the kind of practitioner who builds a caseload through repeated client relationships and courtroom appearances.

In recent years his professional base has been Audette, Cordeiro & Violette, PC. He practices there alongside other lawyers who share a local practice footprint. The firm handles matters that arise under Rhode Island law and appears in the state’s trial courts. At that office, he continues to handle filings, hearings, and negotiations for clients across a range of matters that present in state court.

Outside the courtroom his work involves the routine but essential tasks that keep cases moving: drafting pleadings, preparing witnesses, and guiding clients through procedural questions. Those tasks rarely attract press attention, but they form the backbone of a functioning practice. He brings to them the training he received at Boston University and the trial experience he accumulated as a partner.

He remains active in the local legal community and available for matters that require an experienced Rhode Island practitioner. He currently practices at Audette, Cordeiro & Violette, PC, where his practice focuses on matters in Rhode Island courts.
