About Robert M. Frost
Robert M. Frost Jr. began his legal path at College of the Holy Cross, where he completed his undergraduate degree, and went on to earn his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Those academic years shaped his approach to courtroom practice and legal analysis. He moved from classroom study into the practical demands of litigation and appellate work, armed with training from a regional private college and a New England law school.
His professional credentials include admission to practice in Connecticut and New York, as well as federal admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. That range of admissions allows him to handle matters at both trial and appellate levels. He practices through Frost Bussert LLC, where he has been associated with firm work that addresses contested cases and courtroom advocacy.
Frost has maintained active involvement in several professional organizations. He holds memberships in the American Inns of Court, the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and he participates in the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations reflect regular engagement with peers who practice trial and criminal defense law, and they provide channels for continuing education and professional exchange.
In daily practice he manages litigation matters that require court appearances and brief writing at multiple levels. He represents clients in contested proceedings and litigated disputes, drawing on the procedural rules that govern state and federal courts. His work includes advocacy before trial courts and, when necessary, on appeal. He also uses his membership in trial and criminal defense groups to remain current on trial strategy and changes in criminal procedure. He practices with Frost Bussert LLC and represents clients in criminal defense and civil litigation.
