About Robert
Robert Dixon studied political science at the University of Florida and stayed on to earn his law degree at the same school. He completed a B.A. in Political Science before receiving a J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law. Those years in Gainesville shaped his early interest in courtroom work and public law.
After law school he began practicing in Florida. He is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Over time he established a solo practice. He now works as the lawyer at the Law Offices of Robert Dixon, handling cases for clients across the region.
Dixon is an active member of several professional organizations. He belongs to The Florida Bar and holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations keep him connected to trial colleagues and to ongoing developments in state and federal procedure.
In court he appears in both state and federal forums. His admission to the Southern District of Florida federal court allows him to take cases that proceed beyond the state court system. He files pleadings, handles pretrial matters and represents clients at hearings.
