About Robert B.

Robert B. MacIntyre is a lawyer admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He entered Dickinson School of Law in 1979 and earned his J.D. in 1982. That academic background laid the groundwork for a career spent largely in courtroom practice and appellate work.

After law school MacIntyre began practicing in Pennsylvania. Over the years he developed experience handling matters that moved through both state and federal systems. He is admitted to the bar of Pennsylvania and holds the federal admissions that allow him to appear in the Third Circuit and before the nation's high court. Those credentials reflect a practice that touches trial-level litigation and appeals.

MacIntyre’s work combines case preparation, courtroom advocacy and appellate briefing. He has handled procedural and substantive issues that arise when cases move beyond the trial court. His approach to cases emphasizes clarity in written work and a readiness to present arguments in court. Peers and court records show a steady engagement with litigation and appellate processes rather than a narrow specialty.

Throughout his career he has been based at a smaller firm setting. That environment has required him to cover a broad range of tasks for clients, from initial pleadings through oral argument when cases proceed to higher courts. The practical demands of that work have shaped the way he manages dockets and prepares appeals, preferring concise legal analysis and careful attention to record development.

In recent years MacIntyre has continued to accept matters that require representation in Pennsylvania courts and those that move into federal appellate review. He maintains the federal admissions that allow him to file briefs and appear in the Third Circuit, and he remains admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court. He handles both trial-level litigation and appellate matters, balancing written advocacy with oral presentation in appellate settings.

MacIntyre practices at MacIntyre Law, where his current practice focuses on litigation in Pennsylvania courts and appellate work in federal courts, including the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
