Richard W — Zawtocki has been practicing law in Arizona since 1985. He is the founder and managing partner of Zawtocki Law Offices, P.L.L.C., a firm he established with his wife, Marie Splees Zawtocki, in 2003. The firm is located at 2345 S Alma School Road, Suite 200, Mesa, Arizona 85210. Mr. Zawtocki's practice focuses on personal injury law, including motor vehicle collisions, dog bites, slip and falls, and wrongful death claims. He also handles general civil litigation cases, such as contract disputes and debt collection, as well as special education and school law matters.
He earned his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1985. Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Zawtocki practiced with several law firms, including Udall Shumway, Langerman Begam. Goldberg & Osborne, where he concentrated on personal injury law and general civil litigation. Mr. Zawtocki is an active member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and the MCBA Lawyer Referral Program.
He has also been recognized by Arizona’s Finest Lawyers. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Zawtocki is committed to community service. He has served on the Kyrene School District Governing Board for two four-year terms and has been involved with organizations such as Valley Big Brother/Big Sisters, the American Heart Association, Seton Catholic Preparatory High School, St. Benedict’s Parish. The Special Olympics.
Mr. Zawtocki resides in Chandler, Arizona, with his wife and four children. He is fluent in Spanish and offers bilingual services to his clients.
