Richard A. AlAziz earned his law degree from Wayne State University Law School, completing his J.D. in 2013 after beginning his legal studies in 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University, awarded in 2009. Those academic years set the foundation for a practice grounded in Michigan law and federal procedure.
Shortly after law school, AlAziz joined public service as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the Charter County of Wayne in 2011. The role placed him inside municipal government legal work at an early stage in his career. During the same period he became active in the bar community, joining the Detroit Bar Association in 2011. He later gained admission to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, a credential he has held since 2017.
In 2016 he founded Delta Law Group, PC and serves as its president. He established the firm to provide legal services in Michigan courts and to represent clients in matters that arise under state and federal law. Founding and leading a firm has kept him involved in both casework and the administrative responsibilities of running a small practice. The firm listing reflects his ongoing role there.
