About Renee Rose

Renee Rose Ross is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2004. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Ross is the founding partner of Ross Family Law, P.C., a law firm specializing in family law matters with offices in Pleasanton and Oakland, California. She has been practicing law for over 21 years, serving clients throughout the Bay Area, including Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Napa, and Marin counties.

Ms. Ross earned her Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, graduating in 2003. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at Mount St. Mary's College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on Pre-law in 2000. During her time at Golden Gate University, she developed a strong foundation in family law, which has been the focus of her practice since 2005.

Ms. Ross concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, including divorce, child custody and support, high net worth divorce, and same-sex family law issues. She represents individuals and families in matters involving prenuptial agreements, complex property division, and domestic partnership issues. Her practice encompasses all stages of family law proceedings, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout her career, Ms. Ross has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Alameda, the Superior Court of California for the County of Contra Costa, and the Superior Court of California for the County of San Francisco. She has also appeared before the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to founding Ross Family Law, P.C., she worked as a Family Law Attorney at Staley Jobson from April 2005 to February 2014 and as an Attorney and Partner at Family Law Group, LLP from March 2014 to July 2014.

Ms. Ross is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association, and the Contra Costa Bar Association. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Family Lawyers. She has been recognized as a "Super Lawyer" each year since 2014 and has received annual recognition as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Northern California and Top 100 Lawyers in Northern California. She is also a Certified Family Law Specialist, as designated by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Ross is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of the Bay Area effectively.
