About Julie
Julie Mack built a legal foundation in Southern California. She earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 1996 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in sociology at California State University, San Bernardino in 1993. Those years set the stage for a career spent largely inside family courts and conference rooms where parties seek practical resolutions.
Admitted to the California bar in 1997, Mack began her career as an associate at Georgine Brave & Associates the same year. She cut her teeth on the day-to-day work of family law practice. Over time she moved into leadership roles. By 2006 she was a partner at Brave, Weber & Mack, LLP, handling courtroom matters and client counseling.
Her practice gradually shifted toward mediation and negotiated settlements. In 2016 she worked as a family law lawyer and mediator (CLS-F) at Julie Mack & Associates. That period marked a clearer tilt away from contested litigation and toward dispute resolution outside of trial. In 2022 she listed her title as Family Law Mediator at Julie R. Mack, APC, reflecting the next step in a transition toward an independent mediation practice.
Mack’s work covers the kinds of problems that routinely bring people to family lawyers: dissolution of marriage, child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, and division of assets. She has handled contested hearings and settlement conferences, and she has spent years guiding clients through negotiation and mediation sessions. Her experience in both advocacy and neutral mediation gives her a practical perspective on what is likely to settle and what will require a hearing.
Colleagues and clients have encountered her in court calendars, mediation rooms, and settlement tables across California. She has maintained active membership in the State Bar of California since 1997. That continuous membership underscores a steady presence in the state’s family law community rather than a flash of activity or a temporary affiliation.
Today she practices under the name Julie Mack Mediation. Her work is centered on helping parties resolve family law disputes through mediated agreements and negotiated settlements. She continues to practice in California, providing mediation services in family law matters.
