About Rebekah Joy
Rebekah Joy Turney earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University in 2004. She trained in San Francisco during law school and entered practice soon after. Her education provided the foundation for a steady legal career in California.
Her early post-law school work included an associate position at Katzoff & Riggs in 2008. There she gained hands-on experience in day-to-day client work and case preparation. In 2011 she opened the Law Office of Rebekah J. Turney, operating as a sole practitioner and handling the full scope of running a small practice.
In 2013 she joined James E. Toothman & Associates as a lawyer. That stint led to the next step in her career: in 2014 she became a partner at Toothman & Rose. That move placed her in a firm setting where she has taken on larger files and coordinated with other attorneys.
Across those roles, her responsibilities have ranged from intake and counseling to motion practice and courtroom appearances. She has managed case strategy, supervised discovery, and worked directly with clients through all stages of litigation.
