About Rebecca

Rebecca Zung built her legal foundation at the University of Miami School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 2000. She completed her formal legal education there before returning to practice in Florida. The law school years shaped her approach to legal writing and courtroom procedure, and provided the grounding she carried into her work as an attorney.

After law school, Zung took the steps required to practice in Florida. She has practiced under the rules of that jurisdiction and has developed a career based in the state’s courts and legal community. Over time she has focused on case preparation, courtroom advocacy, and the array of tasks that come with litigated matters. Colleagues describe her as methodical and precise in pleadings and hearings.

Her career has included work at Zung Clough PLLC, where she has worked alongside other lawyers in a firm environment. At the firm she has been involved in managing client matters, preparing legal documents, and presenting arguments before judges. The firm setting has also meant collaborating on strategy, supervising litigation teams, and coordinating with experts when cases required technical or specialized input.

Zung’s day-to-day practice requires juggling deadlines, discovery schedules, and courtroom calendars. She is experienced in drafting motions, arguing evidentiary matters, and guiding clients through procedural stages. Those who have observed her work note a calm demeanor under pressure and a preference for clear, direct communication in written and oral advocacy.

Beyond the courtroom, Zung has invested time in sharpening trial skills and staying current on developments in Florida law. That work includes continuing legal education and engagement with legal materials that affect litigation practice in the state. She applies those updates to client files, adjusting litigation plans as statutes and case law evolve.

Clients and peers find her practical on procedural questions and exacting on legal detail. She brings consistency to case management and emphasizes documentation and preparation. Her work reflects an emphasis on orderly presentation and responsiveness to the evolving needs of litigation.

As of 2026, Zung continues to practice law in Florida through Zung Clough PLLC, where her work centers on litigated matters handled in the state’s courts.
