About Rebecca S.
Rebecca S. Walsh built a foundation in business before turning to law. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and completed her J.D. at Western Michigan University in 1991. The combination of business training and a law degree shapes how she approaches complex matters.
After law school she entered the legal profession and went on to become licensed to practice in both Michigan and Georgia. Her career includes a long association with Reiter & Walsh, PC, where she became a partner in 2011. That role places her in a firm setting where casework and firm management intersect.
Her involvement in professional groups stretches back more than a decade. She joined the executive board of the Michigan Association for Justice in 2007. In 2008 she became a member of the Federal Bar Association. Two organizations added her to their boards in 2009: the Justice Caucus and Ronald McDonald House Charities. In 2011 she also joined the organization known as Birth Trauma Litigation. These roles reflect steady engagement with peers and with community organizations.
Colleagues say Walsh brings a structured, businesslike approach to case preparation and courtroom work. She has balanced responsibilities that include client representation and organizational service. Her memberships and board positions have given her regular contact with other lawyers and judges across state lines.
Outside the courtroom she has been active on nonprofit boards. Her service on the Ronald McDonald House Charities board in 2009 placed her in a governance role at a community-focused organization. That experience runs alongside her professional association work and speaks to an interest in institutional service beyond legal practice.
Walsh works from the Bloomfield Hills office of Reiter & Walsh, PC. In her partnership there she handles litigation and related legal matters in the jurisdictions where she is licensed. Her current practice focuses on litigation in Michigan and Georgia.
