About Raymond H Caso
Raymond H Caso Jr. earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and went on to receive a J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in the late 1990s. His academic track traces a steady connection to Western New York, where he began building legal skills soon after law school.
His first legal post was as a judicial clerk in 1994 for Joseph Mattina. That early courtroom exposure was followed by a series of positions in private practice. He joined the Law Office of Darrell Huckabone as an associate in 2000 and moved into a managing real estate associate role at Block Colucci Longo, P.C. in 2002. Over the next decade he advanced to senior associate at Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP in 2006, handling the kinds of transactions and disputes that come with a busy regional practice.
By the mid-2010s Mr. Caso’s resume shows a mix of private, corporate and nonprofit roles. He took an associate position at Hurwitz & Fine, P.C. in 2015 and that same year began serving as a director for ECAL Veterans for Veterans, Inc., a nonprofit board role he continues to hold. In 2016 he worked as in-house counsel for Benderson Development. The following year he was listed of counsel at Fiorella & Schwind, LLP.
In 2018 he joined Tully Rinckey PLLC as senior counsel. That move followed a steady accumulation of real estate and transactional experience, combined with periods working inside a corporation and on nonprofit governance. The variety of settings gave him exposure to contract drafting, property matters and the practical demands of client-facing legal work.
Mr. Caso holds membership in the State Bar of New York and has been a member of the Bar Association of Erie County since 1999. Those memberships reflect a sustained practice in the region and ongoing ties to local legal institutions.
Colleagues describe a lawyer who has moved comfortably between contested matters and transactional work over the course of his career. His path has included litigation support early on, the specialized demands of real estate practice and corporate legal work at a development firm. He has also taken on governance responsibilities through his nonprofit board service.
He currently serves as senior counsel at Tully Rinckey PLLC. His current practice centers on real estate and corporate matters.
