About Raymond F.

Raymond F. Chandler built his legal foundation in Missouri and on the classroom bench. He earned a B.A. in political science and philosophy from Rockhurst University in 2000. Five years later he completed a J.D. at Saint Louis University School of Law, where his studies included international law. Those academic choices set a measured tone for a career that has moved between public service and private practice.

Chandler began his career in prosecutorial work. In 2005 he served as an assistant prosecuting lawyer in Cole County. The following year he accepted a similar role in St. Charles County. Those early years put him in court regularly and gave him direct experience with the mechanics of local criminal proceedings.

In 2008 Chandler shifted to private practice, joining the firm then known as Lampin, Kell, Fagras, Linson, Buehler & Chandler. He remained within that firm group as it reorganized, working as a lawyer at Kell Lampin, LLC beginning in 2011. By 2016 he had advanced to partner at The Lampin Law Office. The move from the prosecutor’s table to private practice broadened the kinds of matters he handled and changed the pace of his work.

The trajectory is plain: public sector training followed by more than a decade in several private law firm settings. Those years include courtroom time, client counseling and case management across a range of matters encountered in a midsize Missouri practice. His background in international law adds a different dimension to his legal education, even if most of his day-to-day work has been local.

Chandler has spent his career licensed to practice in Missouri. He has alternated between roles that required him to prosecute cases on behalf of the state and roles that required advocacy on behalf of private clients. Colleagues describe him as steady and procedural in approach. He tends to prioritize clear preparation and direct communication in litigation settings.

More recently Chandler has been associated with Polaris Law Group, LLC. That firm connection reflects the later phase of his private practice years. His path from county prosecuting offices to firm partnership and now to his current firm charts a conventional but durable legal career.

He now practices at Polaris Law Group, LLC. His practice centers on litigation and client representation stemming from his years in both public prosecution and private firms.
