About Rania

Rania Attum began her academic life immersed in the arts. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Fine Arts from the University of Louisville. That early training sharpened her eye for detail and introduced a discipline she later carried into legal study. She then attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, where she completed her juris doctor.

After law school, Attum entered the Kentucky legal community. She became a member of the Kentucky State Bar in 2011 and has remained active since. Her legal career has been centered in the state where she is licensed. Over time she developed practical knowledge of courtroom procedure, client counseling and case preparation while building a solo practice.

Attum launched Attum Law Office, PLLC. She serves as the lawyer of record for that firm and manages its daily operations. Running a small practice has meant wearing many hats: attorney, counselor, manager and often the first point of contact for clients. That combination has required attention to detail and practical problem solving. She has handled a range of matters that arise for individuals and small businesses in Kentucky.

Her background in the liberal arts informs how she approaches cases. Training in art history and fine arts cultivated habits of close reading and careful interpretation. Those habits translate into how she reads statutes, interprets case law and prepares written work for court. The law degree provided formal training in advocacy and legal analysis. Bringing both strands together has shaped her professional style.

Colleagues describe Attum as pragmatic and thorough in her handling of paperwork and court filings. She maintains the responsibilities of a solo practitioner while participating in the state bar. Her membership in the Kentucky State Bar has provided access to continuing legal education and professional networks that support practice in the state.

In recent years she has maintained a steady local presence through her office. Clients who come to her firm encounter a lawyer familiar with Kentucky procedure and local court practices. She balances casework and the administrative duties of running a practice. Today she continues to operate Attum Law Office, PLLC, serving clients and practicing law in Kentucky.
