About Randy Lee
Randy Lee Calvin built a legal path that moves steadily from the classroom to courtroom work. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Liberty University in 2007 and completed his Juris Doctor at Regent University School of Law in 2010. Those credentials framed an early interest in trial and litigation work.
Calvin's practical training began before law school finished. He interned at the Portsmouth Commonwealth Lawyer's Office in 2009. After passing into practice, he held a series of entry-level and associate roles that placed him in busy local firms and public-facing positions. In 2011 he worked at Sheikh Legal Services and served as an associate at Christopher Trainor and Associates. Those roles gave him regular courtroom exposure and client-facing experience.
By 2014 Calvin had moved into a partner role at Boroja, Bernier & Calvin PLLC. The partnership period lasted into a phase of independent practice; he ran the Law Offices of Randy Calvin in 2015. The following year he split time between the Law Offices of Robert A. Canner and a managing lawyer position at Reifman Law Office PLLC, the latter role reflecting a transition into firm management alongside casework.
Calvin is licensed to practice in Michigan and has permission to appear in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He has been active in local bar groups. He joined the Macomb County Bar Association and its criminal committee in 2011 and remained involved through 2018 on the committee, while his membership in the county association has continued. He has also been a member of the Livonia Bar Association since 2012. From 2014 until 2018 he participated in the Wayne County Criminal Defense Bar Association.
Those memberships align with the types of cases Calvin has handled. Over the years his docket has included criminal defense matters in Michigan state courts and federal cases in the Eastern District of Michigan. He has balanced individual client representation with responsibilities that come from managing a small firm practice. Colleagues and court records show him taking on arraignments, motions practice and trials, alongside routine pretrial negotiations.
Today Calvin practices at Reifman Law Office PLLC. He continues to represent clients in Michigan courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, concentrating on criminal defense and related litigation matters.
