About Randall A.
Randall A. Juip earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he studied history and political science and graduated in 1993. He went on to attend Wayne State University Law School, receiving his J.D. in 1997. During law school he concentrated on trial advocacy, a training ground that shaped his early approach to courtroom work.
After passing the bar, Juip built a practice centered on litigation. He is admitted to practice in Michigan and before the Federal Circuit. Those admissions reflect a mix of state and federal work over the years. He has moved between roles that required courtroom presence and others that called for written advocacy and appellate filings.
Colleagues describe Juip as someone who prefers preparation and directness in the courtroom. His law school emphasis on trial advocacy continued to influence his caseload choices. He has handled matters that required evidentiary hearings, motion practice and argument in front of judges. He also has experience drafting briefs for appeals and presenting oral argument when appeals proceeded beyond trial court. That combination of trial and appellate work is a through-line in his career.
Juip practices at The Juip Richtarcik Law Office. There he manages litigation matters for clients in state and federal forums. He balances trial-level representation with work on appeals that may reach the Federal Circuit. His current practice concentrates on litigation and appellate work handled through his private firm.
