Ramon Edward Lewis is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1997. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Lewis is the founder and principal attorney at the Law Offices of Ramon E. Lewis, a firm located in San Diego, California. He has been practicing law for over 28 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.

Mr. Lewis earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1997. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, graduating cum laude in 1993. During his time at UC San Diego, he developed a strong foundation in analytical and strategic thinking, which has been instrumental in his legal career.

Mr. Lewis concentrates his practice in the areas of elder abuse and neglect litigation, medical malpractice, and serious personal injury cases. He represents individuals and families who have suffered due to nursing home neglect, medical misdiagnosis, surgical errors, and other forms of elder mistreatment. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lewis has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney at Higgs, Fletcher & Mack, LLP, where he focused on defending healthcare providers in professional liability litigation, particularly in cases involving elder neglect claims. This experience has provided him with a unique perspective on the defense strategies employed by healthcare institutions.

Mr. Lewis is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association. He holds membership in the California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform (CANHR), an organization dedicated to improving the quality of care in long-term care facilities. He is also a past member of the Board of Trustees for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society-San Diego/Hawaii Chapter and has been recognized as "Man of the Year" in 2009. Mr. Lewis is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
