About Rahul
Rahul Sheth built his legal foundation in the classroom and the courtroom. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religion from the University of Georgia in 2008, then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2012. Those years set the tone for a career spent practicing in Georgia and in the federal appellate courts that serve the region.
Sheth’s career advanced steadily after law school. He became a partner in 2018 at Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin, LLC. The partnership followed years of practice that placed him in state and federal matters. He holds admission to practice in Georgia and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and he brings that courtroom familiarity to the matters he handles.
Outside the courtroom he has stayed active in professional circles. He is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the Atlanta Bar Association, and DRI. He has been listed in Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars beginning in 2019 and continuing through the present. Those memberships reflect continuing engagement with peers and developments in the law.
Colleagues describe Sheth as methodical and pragmatic in his approach to cases. He has handled matters that required appellate briefing and oral argument as well as trial-level practice. His caseload has put him before judges in Georgia and in the Eleventh Circuit, where he has argued procedural and substantive issues arising from lower-court decisions.
Sheth balances casework with professional involvement. He is active in local bar activities and participates in association programs aimed at improving practice standards and courtroom procedure. He has maintained his practice at Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin, LLC since becoming a partner and remains based in the firm’s office.
He currently practices in Georgia and represents clients in matters before Georgia courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
