About Rachel Marie

Rachel Marie Kuhn took a circuitous route into the practice of law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University of Ohio in 2003 and continued her studies at Syracuse University, where she completed a Master of Science in 2005. Years later she returned to the classroom and received her Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2012. The sequence of degrees points to a deliberate pace and a readiness to bring broader training into legal work.

After completing law school, Kuhn entered practice in Ohio. Her career has remained anchored in that state. She holds membership in professional legal associations and participates in the ordinary professional activities that accompany bar membership, including continuing education and collegial engagement. Those activities have kept her connected to developments in Ohio law as it has evolved over the last decade.

Kuhn has brought academic breadth to the practice. The combination of liberal arts and graduate study before a legal education gives her a mixed perspective on legal problems. She approaches client matters with an eye for both practical outcomes and the procedural steps necessary to reach them. She has experience managing files, preparing court filings and advising clients on the procedural posture of their cases.

Colleagues describe Kuhn as methodical in her handling of client matters and attentive to deadlines. She tends to prefer clear, discreet steps when resolving disputes. That style fits the day-to-day demands of representation in state courts. It also suits work that requires careful analysis of statutes, rules and case law rather than headline-grabbing litigation.

Her current practice is based at N.P. Weiss Law. There she represents clients across Ohio, handling the range of tasks a small firm attorney commonly encounters. Her role involves client intake, factual development, drafting pleadings and courtroom appearances as needed. She also devotes time to keeping abreast of rule changes and procedural trends that affect how cases proceed at the trial level.

Kuhn maintains a steady, workmanlike approach to her practice. She balances courtroom responsibilities and client counseling while remaining rooted in Ohio practice and procedure. She currently practices at N.P. Weiss Law, serving clients in Ohio.
