About Rachel E.
Rachel E. Donsbach completed her undergraduate studies at Maryville College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2009 after beginning her studies in 2005. She went on to attend Lincoln Memorial University’s John J. Duncan, Jr. School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2013 following a three-year course of study that began in 2010. Those formative years established the legal foundation she still draws on in practice today.
After law school she entered the Tennessee legal community and took the steps necessary to practice in the state. She is admitted to the Tennessee bar and has spent her career working for clients within that jurisdiction. Over time she has handled a range of matters that required courtroom work, written filings and client counseling, building practical experience in the state courts and administrative forums where she practices.
Her day-to-day work includes advising clients, preparing pleadings and motions, and representing individuals in hearings and trials when required. She approaches casework with attention to procedure and deadlines. She balances written advocacy and oral argument, and she places emphasis on clear communication with clients about options and likely outcomes.
Donsbach operates out of the Law Office of Rachel E. Donsbach. Running her own practice means she oversees intake, case management and strategy for each matter that comes through the office. She works directly with clients at every stage, from the first consultation to resolution, and coordinates any outside resources or experts her cases may require.
Colleagues describe her as practical and thorough in handling legal problems. She keeps current on developments in Tennessee law that affect her clients and adapts her approach as needed. She continues to practice in Tennessee through the Law Office of Rachel E. Donsbach, serving clients in matters arising under state law.
