Mr. Seastrom earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in 1976. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Fullerton, receiving a degree in 1973. During his time at Western State University, he focused on family law, which has been the primary area of his legal practice.
Mr. Seastrom concentrates his practice in the area of family law, representing individuals in matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support. He handles all stages of family law cases, including initial consultations, negotiations, mediation, and litigation in both state and federal courts. His extensive experience allows him to provide comprehensive legal support to clients navigating complex family law issues.
Throughout his career, Mr. Seastrom has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to founding Seastrom Tuttle & Murphy, he worked as an associate attorney at a family law firm in Irvine for several years.
Mr. Seastrom is an active member of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers and serves as a fellow and current chair of the Southern California Section of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is also a certified family law specialist through the California State Bar. In 2011 and 2018, he was recognized as the Orange County Family Law Lawyer of the Year by U.S. News & World Report. Mr. Seastrom is fluent in English and Spanish, enabling him to effectively serve a diverse clientele.
