Peter Scott Rukin is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California and New York. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1995 and holds bar number 178336. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Rukin is a managing partner at Rukin Hyland & Riggin LLP, a law firm with offices in San Francisco and Oakland, California. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
Mr. Rukin earned his Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law in 1991. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988. During his time at NYU, he developed a strong foundation in legal principles, which has informed his approach to complex litigation.
Mr. Rukin concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law and civil rights. He is also a certified mediator through the California State Bar's Alternative Dispute Resolution program.
