About Peter
Peter Lennon earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 1993. He completed his legal education at a time when the practice was shifting in response to new regulatory and economic pressures. The degree set the stage for a long career in Pennsylvania law.
He has practiced in Pennsylvania for more than three decades. Over that time he has represented clients in a variety of state matters and has worked inside the state’s court system. He holds current membership in professional legal associations, maintaining ties to colleagues and continuing legal education programs that shape practice in the state.
Those early years after law school took him through routine and complex matters that are part of everyday practice in Pennsylvania. He has handled courtroom proceedings, client counseling and transactional work. The work has required attention to changing statutes, local court practices and procedural detail. He has dealt with the kinds of factual and legal problems that bring people and businesses to a lawyer’s office.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in his preparation and careful in courtroom presentation. He tends to break issues into their component parts and to address each element in turn. That approach has informed how he evaluates risk for clients, explains options and marshals supporting evidence when litigation is necessary. He values clear communication with clients and practical answers to legal questions.
His membership in professional organizations keeps him connected to developments in Pennsylvania law. Those affiliations also provide opportunities to exchange perspectives with other attorneys and stay current on continuing education requirements. He has participated in seminars and local bar events that deal with procedural and substantive changes affecting practice.
He now maintains a law practice in Pennsylvania and continues to appear in state courts. His work involves representing clients in matters governed by Pennsylvania law and advising them on state-specific legal issues. He remains engaged in the practical, day-to-day practice of law in the state he has served since graduating from Widener in 1993.
He currently concentrates his practice on matters arising under Pennsylvania law.
