About Persia
Persia Pourabbas built a legal path that moved quickly from classroom to courtroom. She completed her Juris Doctor at St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2016 after earning a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012, where she double-majored in history and sociology. The academic record shows an interest in systems and people — themes that would recur in her practice.
She began practicing law in 2016 at Bailey & Galyn Lawyers at Law as a personal injury lawyer. That early work centered on representing individuals who had been hurt in accidents. The position required juggling client contact, investigation and courtroom appearances. It also meant learning how to translate medical records and accident reports into persuasive legal narratives for judges and juries.
In 2019 she moved to McCormick Law Office and took on the role of managing lawyer. The title reflects administrative duties in addition to casework. In that role she handled intake, supervised case strategy and coordinated with other attorneys in the office. She continued to handle personal injury cases, while also overseeing the workflow that allowed other lawyers to focus on litigation and settlement work.
Her day-to-day work combines negotiation and litigation. She works on claims arising from vehicle collisions, premises accidents and other incidents that cause physical harm. Preparing a file for trial, meeting with clients about medical recovery, and negotiating settlement offers are regular tasks. Colleagues note she balances client expectations with the practical demands of building a case. She also maintains memberships in professional organizations that connect her to fellow lawyers and continuing education opportunities.
Pourabbas’s experience spans the early, often chaotic moments after an accident through to trial preparation and settlement discussions. She handles the procedural elements of a case while keeping clients informed about the legal steps ahead. She practices in Texas and is active at McCormick Law Office, where her work remains concentrated on personal injury matters.
