About Persia
Persia Pourabbas built a legal path that moved quickly from classroom to courtroom. She completed her Juris Doctor at St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2016 after earning a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012, where she double-majored in history and sociology. The academic record shows an interest in systems and people — themes that would recur in her practice.
She began practicing law in 2016 at Bailey & Galyn Lawyers at Law as a personal injury lawyer. That early work centered on representing individuals who had been hurt in accidents. The position required juggling client contact, investigation and courtroom appearances. It also meant learning how to translate medical records and accident reports into persuasive legal narratives for judges and juries.
In 2019 she moved to McCormick Law Office and took on the role of managing lawyer. The title reflects administrative duties in addition to casework.
