About Paul Neuharth

Paul Neuharth Jr. studied political science at the University of California, Riverside and earned a Bachelor of Science in 1984. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1989. The academic record laid a clear foundation for a legal career anchored in California.

After law school, Neuharth was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1990 (Bar No. 147073). He later gained admission to the United States Supreme Court Bar in 2003. Those credentials reflect a career that spans both state practice and federal admission.

Neuharth’s affiliations map closely to his practice interests. He maintains memberships in the Criminal Defense Bar Association of San Diego, the Criminal Defense Lawyers Club, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the La Jolla Bar Association (member since 2008), the American Inns of Court, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the United States Supreme Court Bar. These longstanding connections indicate regular engagement with the criminal defense bar in and around San Diego.

Over the years Neuharth has handled a range of matters in criminal law. He represents clients in state and federal courts and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He draws on courtroom experience when preparing cases for trial and when advising clients on criminal charges and potential consequences. Colleagues and peers know him for steady preparation and attention to procedural detail.

Neuharth practices from an office bearing his name: The Law Offices Of Paul H. Neuharth, Jr. APC. Through that office he undertakes client representation, case investigation, and courtroom work. The firm serves clients in the San Diego area and handles matters that arise under California law as well as those that touch on federal jurisdiction.

Outside of direct representation he has stayed active in local and national bar groups and in professional associations that focus on trial work and criminal defense. Those memberships have provided forums for continuing legal education and for staying current on evolving criminal law issues.

He currently represents individuals in criminal matters at The Law Offices Of Paul H. Neuharth, Jr. APC, handling cases in California and in matters that may involve federal review.
