About Paul M.
Paul M. Dominguez built a foundation in economics and English before turning to law. He earned a B.S. in Economics and English from the University of Houston and later received his J.D. from the University of New Mexico. Those studies set the stage for a career that combines courtroom work and firm management.
Dominguez began practicing in New Mexico and Texas and expanded his reach to federal courts. He holds admission in New Mexico and Texas, and he is authorized to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. In 2010 he took on the role of managing partner at Dominguez Law Office, LLC, leading the firm through day-to-day operations and case strategy.
His memberships reflect an active engagement with the legal community. He maintains current memberships in the State Bar of Texas and the New Mexico State Bar. Locally, he is a member of the Albuquerque Bar Association. He also belongs to the New Mexico Trial Lawyer’s Association and the American Association for Justice. That combination of local and national involvement keeps him connected to developments in trial practice and civil litigation.
Colleagues describe him as someone who prefers to let results speak. He has handled matters in both state and federal court, representing clients through trial and on appeal. His work requires managing complex procedural issues in different jurisdictions and coordinating the details that a case demands, from discovery to courtroom presentation.
As managing partner, he oversees case intake, litigation strategy and firm administration. He guides younger lawyers through practical courtroom preparation and the mechanics of running a law office. Overseeing a small firm means balancing client work with administrative responsibilities, a task he has carried out since assuming the managing partner role in 2010.
Today Paul M. Dominguez practices through Dominguez Law Office, LLC. He represents clients in state and federal litigation matters and manages the firm’s litigation practice from the firm office.
