Paul F. Lorincz earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from Boston College, completing a B.A. and a J.D. in 1975. He moved quickly from the classroom to practice, entering a legal career that has been centered in Massachusetts ever since.
He joined Coogan, Smith, McGahan, Lorincz, Jacobi & Shanley, LLP early in his career and has been a partner since 1975. His long tenure at the firm has included courtroom work and dispute resolution. Records show a sustained presence in local practice and bar activities across Bristol County and the state.
Lorincz’s practice has involved family matters and mediation work. He holds Massachusetts certifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution — Conciliation through the state trial courts and is certified under the Massachusetts Family Law Rule 8 mediation program in the Probate & Family Court. Those credentials supported a period serving as a pretrial mediator and conciliator in the Attleboro District Court from 1989 to 1993.
