About Patrick J.
Patrick J. Arnold built a legal foundation that began in the classroom and moved quickly into public life. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2005 and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 2009. Those years set the stage for a career that has combined courtroom work with municipal service.
Arnold began his legal career in 2009 as an associate litigator at Bostock Law. He spent those early years learning litigation practice and case management in a firm setting. In the same year he entered public office, winning election as an alderman in the City of Manchester, New Hampshire. Serving as an elected official while practicing law gave him a dual view of public policy and local governance.
In 2011 he joined Backus, Meyer & Branch, LLP as of counsel. That role placed him alongside more senior practitioners and offered continuity between courtroom work and advisory matters. He moved onto the board of the Manchester Development Corporation in 2012, taking a position that connected municipal economic interests with legal and regulatory concerns.
In 2013 Arnold launched the Law Office of Patrick J. Arnold. Operating his own practice shifted responsibility for case strategy, client intake, and business operations squarely onto his shoulders. Over time his work has continued to anchor him in Manchester and in the broader New Hampshire legal community. He has handled litigation and counsel matters and appeared before local and state decision-makers.
Throughout his career Arnold has balanced roles that require different skill sets: trial preparation and courtroom appearances, elected office obligations, and nonprofit board service. That mix has kept him engaged in the civic life of Manchester while maintaining an active law practice. He is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and has remained involved in local institutions since first taking public office.
Today he practices from the Law Office of Patrick J. Arnold in Manchester. His practice serves clients across New Hampshire and continues to reflect the blend of litigation experience and municipal insight he has developed since 2009.
