About Paola
Paola Limon built her first legal foundation in Mexico. She earned a law degree from Universidad de Monterrey before moving to the U.K. to complete an LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at the University of Essex. She later added a second LL.M. from the University of Texas at Austin, combining comparative and domestic legal training in a way that shaped her approach to law practice.
Her education helped shape an early interest in rights-based questions. After relocating to Texas, she joined Wiley Associates, P.C. as a lawyer. At Wiley Associates she has handled matters that require an understanding of both statutory frameworks and procedural practice in state courts. Colleagues describe her as someone who moves steadily through complex filings and hearings, methodically building the record that courts need to resolve disputes.
Limon holds active membership in the State Bar of Texas. She is also a member of several professional organizations that reflect the breadth of her engagement in the legal community: the National Employment Lawyers Association, Texas Bar College, the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin, the Mexican-American Bar Association of Texas, the Travis County Women Lawyers Association and the Austin Bar Association. Those memberships keep her plugged into continuing education and peer networks across practice areas and civic groups.
Her academic work in international human rights informs how she approaches client problems. That background does not mean she practices in international courts. Rather, it gives her a perspective on rights and remedies that can be useful in state-level litigation and administrative matters. At the same time, her involvement with employment law organizations signals a steady interest in workplace-related disputes and labor issues.
Limon’s courtroom and administrative experience is complemented by her cross-border training. The combination of a Mexican law degree and graduate study in both the U.K. and the U.S. allows her to serve clients whose matters touch on immigration, employment and civil rights concerns, among other issues. She has maintained a presence in Austin’s legal community through bar activities and local associations.
She is licensed to practice law in Texas and currently works at Wiley Associates, P.C., where she handles employment-related and civil rights matters in state forums.
