About P. Lynn
P. Lynn Seifert earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law in 1996. She is licensed to practice in Ohio and has spent her career working on cases that touch family relationships, mediation and collaborative practice. Her legal education came during a period of change in family law practice nationwide, and she entered the field as those new methods were taking hold.
She became a partner at Seifert & Cox, L.L.P. in 2017. That title reflects years of courtroom and alternative dispute resolution work that preceded it. Colleagues describe her as steady in negotiations and methodical in preparation. Over time she moved into roles that emphasize dispute resolution outside the traditional adversarial model while still handling litigation when necessary.
Seifert has been active in local professional groups that shape how family disputes are resolved. She joined The Center for Principled Family Advocacy in 2011 and has served as Co-Chair of its Mediation Practice Group. In that role she has helped organize training and peer discussion focused on mediation practice and standards. She is also a member of The Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, an association she joined in 2014. Those memberships signal ongoing engagement with collaborative law and structured settlement processes rather than a pivot away from court-based work.
Her office is located at 3998 Broadview Rd. There she continues to split time between client meetings, mediation sessions and case work. She handles matters that involve family dynamics and the legal tools used to resolve them, including negotiated settlements and formal mediation. The combination of association leadership and firm partnership gives her both an internal practice platform and an external role in professional education and standards discussions. She continues to work in Ohio, practicing family law, collaborative practice and mediation at Seifert & Cox, L.L.P., where her current practice addresses family law, collaborative practice and mediation.
